Join the Dillman Family Association

If you are interested in meeting distant cousins and enjoy the fellowship of other researchers of Dillman family history, join the Dillman Family Association, today! We have gathered face-to-face every other year, beginning in 2002, with the next meeting planned for 2008. Between meetings we communicate by way of announcements and the Dillman Genealogical Bulletin Board.

DFA membership dues help pay for this web site and the upfront costs of planning for the next Dillman Mega-Reunion. Occasionally dues may help sponsor DNA testing that benefits the association. The $10 fee covers two full years of membership. The two-year membership term matches our Dillman Reunion schedule and it also helps minimize our administrative costs. We have kept the dues at an affordable level in an effort to attract an ever larger membership. We are an entirely volunteer organization.

The Dillman Family Genealogy Research Project: Three CD sets

As you join the DFA, you also have the opportunity to order the most recent DFA Reunion CD, a valuable resource for any Dillman genealogist. The association has produced three CD sets, each following a reunion where photos and documents were shared or sent as follow up to the meeting. Members who attend the reunion receive the CD as soon as it is produced. The costs of production and mailing are included in the reunion registration fee. Dillman historians who did not attend reunions may order one or more Reunion CDs ($25.00 each as available) using the attached membership and order form.

Common to all CDs are 25 major classifications of information ranging from Biographies, Birth & Bible Records, Family Histories, Military Records, Dillman Immigrants, and Church Records to Wills. The 2004 CD contained additional information including the complete and amazing story of how our DNA project discovered a Stillman branch of our family that had been missing since 1776!

Our web site will continue to expand as additional information becomes available. We hope you will post a note on our Bulletin Board and contribute information, documents, and/or photos for your branch of the family for the next reunion CD.
