Thank you for visiting the Dillman Family Association website. Established in Indianapolis, Indiana in 2002, The Dillman Family Association (DFA) is dedicated to finding and documenting the ancestors, descendents and history of all Dillman, Stillman and other spelling variations including Dihlmann, Delman, Diehlman, Dillmann, Thielman, Tillman, Tilman, Tilghman family lines. With the help of many DFA members (some with over 25 years of research), published researchers, and the Dillman DNA Project , we have aquired hundreds of years of research!

We hope that all Dillmans and other spelling variations will join the Dillman Family Association and the Dillman DNA Project while receiving assistance from present members and sharing your research with other genealogists. It is our vision that the Dillman Family Association and it's website will become the first place both seasoned and new researchers will seek out.

  • The DNA Project has established a positive Dillman/Stillman family connection dating back to 1776 and The Battle of Long Island.
  • Descendant Files are in .PDF and .Doc formats. They contain a wealth of information and may be the missing key that unlocks your door. As always the DFA makes no claim to accuracy and you should always do your own documenting.

  • You can read the handout Fracturing Brick Walls , as presented by Dr. Freed during our Third Biennial Reunion in Cincinnati in 2004, and Andrew's summary of Dr. Freed's Presentation by going here.
